Howdy Doody was a popular childrenโ€™s television show, it๐ŸŽˆ aired during the 1950โ€™s. The program featured Howdy Doody and โ€œBuffaloโ€ Bob Smith they๐ŸŽˆ told about their adventures in Doodyville. Howdy was a marionette which is a kind of puppet an๐ŸŽˆ operator above the stage controlled his movements with strings. The show featured contests and sing-alongs it๐ŸŽˆ also had an audience of children who were referred to as โ€œThe Peanut Gallery.โ€ Another character on the show was Clarabell the clown whenever๐ŸŽˆ Clarabell got hit with a pie in the face, The Peanut Gallery laughed and screamed. I always wondered about Clarabellโ€™s voice an๐ŸŽˆ automobile horn was used to make it.
